Interested in volunteering at 92.9?
That's great! Like most community radio stations in Australia, we reliy heavily upon the generous help of volunteers in the community. 92.9 currently has 70 volunteer members and this number is growing all the time. There are plently of things to get involved with at the station, not everyone who works in radio has 'The Golden Voice' in fact, there's plently of people who choose not to go on air all together. If you've got a specific skill or a great attitude, chances are you'll fit right in..
WII-FM?
It's 92.9 FM not WII-FM... Although you're probably wondering What's In It - For Me, right? Volunteering at the station has a range of benefits. Make new friends and work with like minded people, learn a skill and become apart of the community. Joining as a volunteer memeber also means you get full use of the station's equipment such as interent, digital recorders and digital cameras.

Here's what you need to know
92.9 FM is always on the lookout for new and interesting presenters to join our team. You may be looking to have a show of your own, you might want to team up with others, or you might want to join our team of backup presenters to do just the occasional show.
If you want to be an announcer on air, you should read through the New Presenter document.
Or maybe you prefer it behind the scenes and don't want to be on air at all? We need volunteers that can help out in the music library, in the office, help out with fundraising and promotions, and in many more ways. Basically if you are good at something, then we could probably use you! If you have any questions, just email volunteering.
All volunteers..
Either way, download our volunteer information form. This form helps us understand you a little better. Print it out, complete it, and return it to our volunteering team by mail, fax or in person and we will call you to discuss in what capacity you will be able to help out.
One last thing! You'll need to fill in a members application form which is a formal agreement and confirms your membership fee. It is not recommended you send money via post.
